Subpoenas

Subpoenas shall be served at 700 W. Main Street, Alhambra, CA 91801, and delivered in person.

Subpoenas and legal document requests shall include a Notice to Consumer and shall be directed to the attention of Risk Management.

Site offices other than the address noted above are prohibited from accepting subpoena and legal document requests.

Document Copy Fee: A check or money order in the amount of $15.

Deposition or Appearance Fee: A check or money order in the amount of $35.

No cash will be accepted.  Payments shall be made payable to:

Claims for Damages

If you feel that you have suffered an injury, personal damage, property damage, or loss arising from activities generated by the Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA), you may file a Claim for Damages to Person or Property by submitting a claim form to:

If you are uncertain as to whether or not your claim should be filed with our office, you may contact Julliette Larin, Risk Analyst, at (626) 586-1695 for assistance.

Please note: Filing a claim directly with the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisor’s office does not comply with the above required Claims Filing Process for the LACDA. You must send your claim to the above referenced address for processing.

Claims for death, injury to person or to personal property must be filed no later than six months after the occurrence. (Government Code Section 911.2)

All other claims for damages must be filed no later than one year after the occurrence. (Government Code Section 911.2)

Subject to certain exceptions, you have only six months from the date of the written notice of rejection of your claim to file a court action. (Government Code Section 945.6)

If written notice of rejection of your claim is not given, you have two years from accrual of the cause of action to file a court action. (Government Code Section 945.6)

ADA Grievance Procedure
This Grievance Procedure is established to meet the requirements of the ADA. It may be used by anyone who wishes to file a complaint alleging discrimination on the basis of disability in employment practices and policies or the provision of services, activities, programs, or benefits provided by the LACDA.

Complaints should be submitted in writing and contain information about the alleged discrimination such as name, address, phone number of complainant, location of occurrence, date of occurrence, and a description of the problem. Alternative means of filing complaints, such as email delivery, personal interviews, or a tape recording of the complaint will be made available for persons with disabilities upon request.

Complaints should be submitted by the grievant and designee as soon as possible, but no later than 60 calendar days after the alleged violation.  Complaints shall be delivered to:
