TEFRA Hearing for Multiple Projects February 18, 2025

 

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) will hold a public hearing on February 18, 2025, as required and authorized by Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, with respect to multiple proposed plans of financing providing for the issuance or reissuance of multiple series of multifamily housing revenue bonds or notes from time to time, including bonds or notes issued to refund such revenue bonds or notes from time to time, for the purpose of providing funds to make separate loans to the limited partnerships formed or to be formed by the sponsors specified below (or an affiliate, assign or designee approved by the Los Angeles County Development Authority) which are expected to be as specified below to finance the acquisition, construction, development or rehabilitation of the below‑referenced projects:

The hearing will be conducted pursuant to the provisions of California Assembly Bill 361 (AB 361) as set forth under California Government Code Section 54953, which suspends certain requirements of the Ralph M. Brown Act.  The hearing will be conducted by telephone conference only, as authorized by the Internal Revenue Service under Revenue Procedure 2021-39 and AB361.

The hearing will commence at 10:30 a.m. at the following telephone number: (833) 850‑5215; Conference ID # 287 174 356#.  All persons wishing to express their views on the plan of financing, issuance or reissuance of the bonds or notes or on the nature and location of the projects proposed to be financed will be given an opportunity to do so by calling into the telephonic meeting or providing written comments in advance.  Written comments may be submitted to Matt Lust, Los Angeles County Development Authority, 700 West Main Street, Alhambra, California 91801‑3312 or via email to mfbonds@lacda.org.
