The Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) Section 8 and Public Housing Programs will be switching financial institutions from Bank of America to another banking institution in the near future for the issuance of Utility Reimbursement Payments (URPs).
What You Need to Know
- A paper check will be mailed for the July 2022 URP. The check is only good for 14 days from the date of issuance. You may cash the check at your current bank or at Bank of America free of charge.
- Checks will continue to be issued for URPs until LACDA is able to find a new financial institution willing to provide Prepaid Cards.
- Unused funds from a previously-issued Bank of America prepaid debit card will continue to be available.
