WAITING LISTS FOR ELDERLY AND GENERAL OCCUPANCY PUBLIC HOUSING SITES TO OPEN AUGUST 17

The Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) Public Housing Program will be accepting registrants for all 16 Site-Based Waiting Lists (SBWL) that include general occupancy and elderly-designated properties. The SBWLs will be open from August 17, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. through September 16, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., or until a sufficient number of registrations have been received, whichever occurs first. This is not for the waiting list for the Section 8 Program, which remains closed.

Registrants may choose, based on eligibility, to register on one or more of the 16 SBWLs. All applicants will be selected from each waiting list in order of admission preferences and then by date and time.
