Interested Parties Must Register Before April 30, 2024

April 15, 2024 - The Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) will be accepting registrants for its Senior and Family Public Housing Site-Based Waiting Lists (SBWLs) from April 15, 2024, 8:00 a.m. through April 30, 2024, 11:59 p.m., or until a sufficient number of registrations have been received, whichever occurs first. If the LACDA receives sufficient applications prior to April 30, 2024, a second notice will be published on the LACDA’s website to notify the public that the SBWLs will close at an earlier date. The County’s Section 8 waiting list remains closed.
Registrants may choose, based on eligibility, to register on one or any of the following 12 family and senior SBWLs.
Senior units are reserved for households whose head, co-head, spouse, or sole member is a person who is at least 62 years of age. It may include two or more persons who are at least 62 years of age living together, or one or more persons who are at least 62 years of age living with one or more live-in aides.
All registrants will be selected from each waiting list in order of admission preferences, followed by date and time of registration. Interested persons may register at https://harp.lacda.org/ex/NewApp.aspx, or call (626) 586-1845, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Interested persons should only register for locations in which they are willing to reside. Visit https://www.lacda.org/program-announcements/ph-sbwl-open for detailed information on each SBWL including location, bedroom sizes, and available amenities. The LACDA prohibits smoking on all public housing development premises.
